Day 45 Update

I’ve always loved mangoes. Growing up in this small community, which was much smaller back then , I remember climbing mango trees. Life felt simpler, sometimes we would throw rocks to knock the mangoes down, and other times we picked the ripe ones that had fallen in front of my old elementary school. The smell of this fruit is unforgettable, fresh and sweet, whether green or yellow when ripe.
When I lived in Thailand, their mangoes were the sweetest. One of my favorite Thai desserts is mango sticky rice. When I lived in the US, I rarely ate mangoes. It’s not that they were uncommon, it’s just that they didn’t smell or taste the same.
Today, a very dear friend stopped by and gave me these huge mangoes! I was ecstatic, I couldn’t wait to eat them! The smell is incredible, so fresh and delicious. I’m not certain what variety these are. When I looked online, it says Pico mangoes, but I’m not sure.
