Update for Day 43

Day 43 Update! Another boring day here in the Philippines. It was very much a stay at home and catch up day. That means laundry day!

There were two things we had to buy when we came to stay at the family’s apartment. One was an air conditioner and the other was a washing machine. We bought a TCL brand washing machine for about $160. It works nice but the loads need to be kept smallish. It sure makes life easier. We’ll leave it here when we move on. 

Honestly,I haven’t read a lot over the last several years. It seems like I’d always be busy and just couldn’t take the time. We weren’t good at packing and most of the books we brought ended up in a slow boat to the Philippines. One of the books that came on the plane was this math book. I’m having fun reading it, even Vidalia is picking it up to read! I’m trying to do a chapter every two days. One spent reading and one spent researching the topic of the chapter. 

Hopefully I can get Vidalia or Erica to do tomorrow’s update.
